Newspapers are sources of information. What distinguishes a newspaper from, say, a magazine is „immediacy“: tragedies, heroic acts, catastrophes – the headlines, written in capital letters, literally scream at us. This immediacy inspired me to make the Medusa, who was petrified with the vision of her own reflection.
